2009: The Meme.

I thought I’d end the year with a lit­tle bit of a meme. Saw this on Jenn’s blog, and thought I’d join in too…

1.What did you do in 2009 that you’d never done before?
I flew by myself. Noth­ing major, but still some­thing I’ve never done.

2.Did you keep your new years’ res­o­lu­tions, and will you make more for next year?
Yes and no. I think there were a few I kept up with, but for the most part…not really.

3.Did any­one close to you give birth?
Yes :D

4.Did any­one close to you die?
No.

5.What coun­tries did you visit?
None.

6.What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?
More punc­tu­al­ity. And bet­ter time management.

7.What date from 2009 will remain etched upon your mem­ory, and why?
Hmmm. Sep­tem­ber 15th — I sent my baby off to school for the first time. OOOHHH, and Octo­ber 20th — BRUUUUUUUUCE!

8.What was your biggest achieve­ment of the year?
Nurs­ing school.

9.What was your biggest fail­ure?
I’d rather keep this private.

10.Did you suf­fer ill­ness or injury?
No injuries, but I did develop asthma and two bad bron­chi­tis infections.

11.What was the best thing you bought?
The black­berry. I haven’t bought much this year, at least not to that degree.

12.Whose behav­ior mer­ited cel­e­bra­tion?
The kids. They’re becom­ing these lit­tle peo­ple now, and it’s unbelievable.

13.Whose behav­ior made you appalled and depressed?
Not really any­one. Maybe a few peo­ple from work/school…but other than that? I can’t think of anyone.

14.Where did most of your money go?
Bills, where else?

15.What events did you get really, really, really excited about?
Vegas, Bruce, the beach with the family…the holidays…there were quite a few.

16.What song will always remind you of 2009?
Workin’ on a Dream.

17.Compared to this time last year, are you:
i.happier or sad­der? Hap­pier.
ii.thinner or fat­ter? Some­what thin­ner.
iii.richer or poorer? Poorer, lol.

18.What do you wish you’d done more of?
Sleep & work.

19.What do you wish you’d done less of?
Stress­ing out.

20.How will you be spend­ing Christ­mas?
I spent Christ­mas with my family ♥

21.Who did you spend the most time on the phone with?
My mother, definitely.

22.Did you fall in love in 2009?
Not with any­one new.

23. How many one-night stands?
Zero.

24. What was your favorite TV pro­gram?
LOST and Glee.

25. Do you hate any­one now that you didn’t hate this time last year?
Nope.

26. What was the best book you read?
Hon­estly, this is ter­ri­ble I know…but I didn’t have time to read any books other than school text­books this past year.

27. What was your great­est musi­cal dis­cov­ery or redis­cov­ery?
Bruce, haha!

28. What did you want and get?
A new lap­top, a new lens…

29. What did you want and not get?
Money…and lots of it ;)

30. What were your favorite films of this year?
IDK…I didn’t see a whole lot this year. I’m rather bor­ing these days.…

31.What did you do on your birth­day, and how old were you?
I turned 26, and I was with family ♥

32. What one thing would have made your year immea­sur­ably more sat­is­fy­ing?
More money, definitely.

33. How would you describe your per­sonal fash­ion con­cept in 2009?
Comfy, casual.

34. What kept you sane?
Cof­fee and wine…lots and lots of those.

35. Which celebrity/public fig­ure did you fancy the most/least?
Eddie Vedder…Matthew Mor­ri­son. Yum.

36. What polit­i­cal issue stirred you the most?
Eh, none in particular.

37. Whom did you miss?
My friends that I’ve some­what grown apart from because of my hor­ri­ble schedule.

38. Who was the best new per­son you met?
I didn’t really meet any­one new this year.

39. Tell us a valu­able life les­son you learned in 2009:
Patience.

40. Do you have any lost feel­ings of oth­ers.
Negative?
